AVANT Brush Lettering Workshop – Backstage at the Meyer

This past Sunday I attended the AVANT Brush Lettering Workshop hosted by Mint and Lovely Studios. I had so much fun learning from Victoria with Victoria Danielle Lettering & Designs. I saw old friends and made new friends and our table had a blast laughing at our mistakes and cheering each other on.

I didn’t know what to expect going into this but Mint and Lovely did such an incredible job turning the workshop into an exciting and welcoming experience for everyone. We received all the tools to start calligraphy and other fun goodies to just enjoy. I love my mug with my name on it 🙂

I was able to try The Coffee Bar for the first time, and coming from someone who doesn’t drink a lot of coffee it was delicious! Such a smart idea to cater in coffee for your events! I also tried Cake & Cookie’s macaroons for the first time, and I’m tempted to order a dozen for me to enjoy myself.

I really hope this year I am able to try more new things, and I encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zone like I did. I’m so happy to be surrounded by a community of creatives that spice up our Sunday afternoons! I hope Green Bay continues to support the creative industry 🙂

I love my fun watercolor palette I received, I’m feeling like a professional 😉 I can’t wait to keep practicing.
